Workshops
Anime North has a variety of free and paid workshops to add some hands-on learning to your con weekend. Pick up a new skill, and meet other crafty people! Feel free to observe any workshop, regardless if you've paid or not (subject to room capacity, specific workshop rules and workshop format).
FREE WORKSHOPS
Free workshops are first-come first-served. Some free workshops require pre-registering at a specific booth or obtaining tickets. Please refer to the workshop descriptions below for details. Participants must have a AN 2026 pass valid for the day of the workshop.
We recommend lining up at least 20 minutes before the start time to ensure a spot.
PAID WORKSHOPS
To participate in paid workshops, you need to purchase a spot AND have an AN 2026 pass valid for the day of the workshop.
Spots can be pre-purchased through the AN Eventbrite page, or directly from the workshop host. Spots are first-come first-served, with a rush line at-the-door if space allows.
Details on how to purchase from the workshop host are detailed in the applicable workshop descriptions below.
At-door sales are ticket price + $5 for sub-$100 workshops, and ticket price + $10 for over-$100 workshops. CASH ONLY.
WORKSHOP TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- AN aims to provide experiences free of harassment, violence and discrimination. Participants found to be engaging in misconduct will be ejected from the workshop.
- For pre-purchased workshops, your spot is held for 15 minutes from the beginning of the workshop to allow for latecomers. After that, unclaimed slots are open for purchase to the rush line. This also applies for free workshops that require pre-registration.
- By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge, understand and accept the Anime North Workshops terms and conditions, refund policy and workshop specific rules.
REFUND POLICY:
- All workshop slots are non-refundable after 11:59pm, Sunday, May 8 2026. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- If you miss your workshop time beyond the 15-minute grace period, there are no refunds, nor can you pick up the kit/materials afterwards. Please pay attention to the AN schedule (and watch your email inbox) to ensure you don't miss your timeslot.
- No refunds will be provided for failing to have a valid AN 2026 pass at check-in.
- Participants ejected from workshops for misconduct are not eligible for refunds.
Should there be any disagreement between the attendee and Anime North, Anime North's decision is final.
