General Information

The event has two portions; a Street Style Section and a Designer Section.

• Street Style Section: Divided into their representative street styles, this section aims to educate attendees of the different fashion groups at Anime North. These sections are organized by volunteers with models wearing items from their personal collections.

  In the past we have featured styles like Visual Kei, Kimono, Steampunk, Lolita, and Gyaru just to name a few. The Fashion Show is always looking for new styles to add and individuals who have a passion for J-fashion!

• Designer Section: This section is for brands and designers who'd like a stage to showcase their work. Work from some of the designers will be available in the Crafters Corner, Dealers Room or Pro Plaza afterwards for attendees to purchase.

  In the past we have featured designers and brands like Victorian Maiden, Juliette et Justine, Baby the Stars Shine Bright, Gloomth, Punimelt, SA Design, Apollonie Uguu, and Pinkiebel.

The individuals who are involved in the show are con-goers just like yourself! Many of them have even stated that they started watching the fashion show and wanted to get involved! We are very proud of the diversity of style and individuals who are involved with us and are always encouraging attendees to get involved with us!

Media and Volunteers

Photographers are welcome to be part of our audience and take photos.

Media who would like to cover the Fashion Show and would like to reserve seats, arrange for interviews and/or backstage access need to contact us in advance to make arrangements. When contacting us, you should provide us with information on who you are, your credibility, what you would like to cover, and what you require.

NOTE: The Fashion Show does not give out Media accreditation or Media passes! Please contact the Anime North Media department directly.

Models

The Anime North Fashion Show has had models from a variety of genders, races, sizes, heights, ages, etc. Anyone who is interested in getting involved is encouraged to contact us [email protected]

If you are interested in modeling for a specific street style or designer, please note that each one of those sections is organized by a volunteer or designer. Each individual is responsible for choosing their models. If you are unsure who to contact, contact us.

If there are modeling opportunities, we usually post them on our Facebook. To stay up-to-date we suggest you follow our page.
