The Japan Foundation, Toronto presents THE MANY WORLDS OF KON SATOSHI, a three-film retrospective celebrating the legendary Japanese animator KON Satoshi, whose groundbreaking works continue to inspire creators around the globe.
From a retired actress reliving her screen life, to a chaotic Christmas Eve in Tokyo, to the boundary-breaking dreamscapes — experience Kon’s unforgettable visions where memory, fantasy, and reality intertwine.
Screenings take place at The Japan Foundation, Toronto Event Hall from May 30 to June 7. Admission is free but registration is required.
