Anime North Idol

This event aims to be a platform to showcase the great singing talent that the fans of Anime North bring to the convention. Contestants will try out in two audition sessions for a finalist’s spot at the grande finale Saturday afternoon, which will be attended by a panel of expert and celebrity judges.

Do you have what it takes? Pick a song, practice your heart out, and come to compete for the prestigious title of “Anime North Idol 2013”!

BYOC LAN Party

AN's BYOC LAN Party is back yet again for it's 4th annual iteration! With even more room now, join us over the weekend for various events such as:

• Free Play Friday, where we play a whole multitude of different games
• Summoner Saturday, a whole day dedicated to just LoL with round robin games opening off during the day and finishing off later with the night's sure-to-be exciting semis and finals
• StarCraft Sunday, where we'll have a number of players, enough to rival even the Zerg, competiting to see who's the best, and even possibly getting a chance to play against a real pro!

Pop Idol Dance Showcase

This event highlights the variety of pop music within Asian culture. It also provides a platform for participants to express their interest in music through dance covers. As such, this is not a competitive environment, and we welcome anyone who wants to participate based on a first-come, first-serve basis. With that being said however, this is not the stage for already established dance cover groups to perform on — rather it is for individuals who want to meet others with similar musical interests.
