Anime North Pre-Registration
Anime North uses the Eventbrite ticker server to perform our online registration. Through it, you may purchase Single-Day admissions (either adult or children), merchandise or Special Event Tickets for Anime North 2017 using your credit card.
Note, there will a processing fee of approximately 6% charged by Eventbrite for each admission or item purchased (i.e. for a $60 Weekend admission, add $3.99 processing fee. All processing fees are listed on the Eventbrite order webpage.) Attendees who do not wish to pay this fee can pre-register through the regular mail using the forms available in the next section below
On arriving at the Eventbrite website, simply select the number of each type of admission, special event ticket or merchandise that you wish to purchase.
You will then be required to provide the FULL NAME of each person that the admission or ticket is being purchased for, and their email address. If their email is not available, use the email address of the person making the purchase. Only the ticket purchaser is required to provide a full address, when submitting payment.
Please make sure that all emails are valid and correctly spelled for attendees to receive their confirmations. This will avoid a lot of confusion later if attendees do not receive their confirmations.
Payment will be made through the Eventbrite payment processing services which accepts credit cards.
Individual confirmations for the Anime North admissions, special event tickets and merchandise purchases will be emailed out by Eventbrite within 24 hours of your purchase. This confirmation will be a .PDF file, with a link to the file included in the body of the email. If these are not received, then there may have been a problem with your purchase; please contact Anime North Registration for verification. Please review the full details on your Anime North confirmation form.
Note: if you wish to have your Anime North 2017 Admission Badges mailed to you with lanyards, you MUST purchase the $22.50 Badge Mailout Fee when you are making your other Anime North Purchases.
Attendees can pre-register by completing and submitted an Anime North Registration Form through the regular mail, with payment by cheque or money order. Mail-in Registration take at least 3 weeks after mailing to process before the attendees are emailed their Anime North confirmation forms.
The Deadline for purchasing Anime North 2017 admissions through regular mail is April 7, 2017. We will not accept registration forms postmarked after this date.
For Pre-Registration using regular mail, payment can be made using cheques or money orders. Note: they must be made payable to "Anime North Japanese Animation Convention".
Post-dated cheques are not accepted.
If you are paying using a money order (especially for group admissions), we recommend you use registered mail or ExpressPost. Anime North does not accept any responsibility for payment lost in the mail.
All failed cheques will be subject to a $5 processing fee. There may be a slight lag between confirmation of our receipt of your registration, and your cheque being processed, so please do not assume the cheque has cleared until it appears in your chequing account.
U.S. ATTENDEES: If sending a money order, please be sure that it is the Pink, International money order. A standard USPS money order cannot be cashed outside the US.
To purchase Anime North 2017 admissions/special event tickets/merchandise by regular mail, please print out the Anime North 2017 Registration Form (PDF), complete it and mail it in with payment (the mailing address is on the form). Note: multiple single admissions can be purchased using the same form.
After an Anime North Pre-Registration is received and processed, a confirmation form for each admission/special event ticket/merchandise item purchased will be sent back by email (or regular mail if the purchaser does not have an email address). The email will be from the Eventbrite ticket server, with the confirmation being an attached .PDF file, with a link to the file included in the body of the email.
Please bring a copy of your confirmation form with you to the Registration Desk when you first arrive at the convention, so that the barcode on the confirmation can be scanned for you to receive your convention badge. Photo ID is not required, but is a good idea to bring, in case of any difficulties at the Registration Desk.
The confirmation form should be either a clear black&white printout, or have the barcode clearly displayed on a smart phone or other electronic device.
Online registrations should receive a confirmation form by email within 24 hours of purchase. For registrations sent through the regular mail, it will take 2-3 weeks before confirmations will be sent out.
Providing a valid email address will ensure a quicker response to your registration. Anime North does not trade or sell email addresses; they are kept confidential.
