Let us know and you will be given the forms. Once you recieve your invoice/receipt, please send us a confirmation copy so that we can add the additional items to your space in our layout.

How much do the Display and Promotional Tables cost?

For Conventions, the Display and Promotional Tables are a direct trade. In order for a Convention to get a Display and Promotional Table at Anime North, we require that you provide a similar table and the same number of passes to your convention (prearranged or agreed upon with the coordinator) available for Anime North whether or not a representative of Anime North is able to attend.

For Clubs and Non-Profit Organizations, we require a minimum donation equivalent to the retail price of $150 CAD of merchandise that will either be used as items for the Sick Kids Charity Auction and/or prizes for our various events and contests. If you do not have any products relevant to Anime North that can be used for our Charity Auction or prizes, you will be required to pay a $150 fee for your table.

For Corporations, we require a minimum donation equivalent to the retail price of $250 CAD of merchandise and/or services that will either be used as items for the Sick Kids Charity Auction and/or prizes for our various events and contests. If you don't have any merchandise or services relevant to Anime North that can be used for our Charity Auction or prizes, you will be required to play a $250 fee for your table.

What can I sell at the Display and Promotional Tables?

No form of retail sales are permitted at the Display and Promotional Tables. If you are actually looking for tables to sell merchandise, please contact the Dealers Room at: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

You may give away promotional items from your table (i.e. flyers, brochures, product samples) with the exception of food samples as food stuffs are under the jurisdiction of the Toronto Congress Centre. If you plan to give away small pre-packaged items, such as candies, etc. please ask us beforehand if this is allowed. Nonetheless, please notify Anime North in your application form of all the promotional items you intend to keep on your table.

Clubs and conventions will be allowed to sell club/convention memberships and club/convention related promotional merchandise to their events (i.e. club/convention related event tickets, club/convention T-shirts, and other club/convention related paraphernalia). You must notify Anime North in your application if you intend to do so.

Anime North retains the right to decide if any additional sales are to be allowed.

I'm a Corporation and I would like to donate some of my promotional merchandise and/or services, what do I do?

If you are giving a merchandise donation, after your application is approved, we will send you the address where you are to ship your merchandise donations. We would prefer that you send the merchandise ahead of time so that we will have ample time to advertise your donations to the Charity Auction on our website and social media networks prior to the convention. Please attach your business card to your donations if possible. Please send in your donations by April 30, 2013 to ensure that your products make it on time for this year's Charity Auction. If physically sending your donation is not possible, please send us an itemized list of your donations no later than April 30th, 2013.

Anime North retains the right to use items donated in 2013 for the 2014 Anime North Charity Auction or as prizes for events in 2014.

For merchandise donations, they must be:

    • Brand new and still in its original packaging
    • Relevant to Anime North (i.e. art supplies for artists, cosplay supplies, anime DVDs, manga, figurines, etc)
    • Current (i.e. video games released in the last year, etc.)

The same applies for service donations (i.e. gift certificate for a drawing class session, voice acting coaching, martial arts class session, film screening tickets, etc). If you cannot send the certificate ahead of time, please send us all the details of your service, including a description, the duration, and the number of sessions you are donating prior to April 30th, 2013 so that we can give it ample advertisement.

I'm a non-profit organization and would like to use Anime North as an event for our fundraising drive. Can I ask for a table?

Anime North already supports Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children's Foundation as our charity and we prefer not to dilute our own fundraising efforts.

However, non-profit organizations who would like to use the event as a fundraising drive are still free to submit a proposal for their fundraiser and we will decide on a case-by-case basis as was done for the Japan Earthquake Relief drive in 2011.

Anime North retains all rights to decide your fundraising event is allowable. Please send your proposal at least 2 months prior to the convention.

My Corporation/Club/Convention was approved for a table but due to unforeseen circumstances, we are not able to attend. What do we do?

The Display and Promotional Tables are given on a first-come, first served basis and often times will have a waiting list after all the tables have been approved. Thus, due to the high demand for the Display and Promotional Tables, we request that you inform Anime North ASAP if you will not be able to send a representative to physically use your table. Failure to do so will result in automatic denial of future applications for your Corporation, Club or Convention.
