Join the Japan Foundation, Toronto for our language class where we’ll introduce Japanese in Anime & Manga!

 

3:00 pm Mokuhanga Artist Lecture (Sutherland 4-5)

Mokuhanga, the art of colour woodblock printing. Elizabeth Forrest is an artist printmaker, trained in the art of mokuhanga in Japan and brought her experience and knowledge back to Canada. She will discuss the art and her personal style of mokuhanga.

 

4:00 pm Japan's Pop Culture Diplomacy - Presented by the office of the Consulate-General of Japan (Sutherland 4-5)

Join the panelists as they discuss their experiences with celebrations of Japanese pop culture outside of Japan and how these interactions foster positive international relationships.
