Noizytoys
Performing Saturday afternoon at the Toronto Congress Center!

Noizytoyz is Andy (vocals/bass), Rikki (guitars), Dennis (guitars/vocals)
and Alvin (drums). Currently under the umbrella of independent record
label, Minerva Records, Noizytoyz has been active in
the indie music scene since Mar 2000, bringing their J-Rock inspired music
from their hometown, Toronto in Canada, to various cities in the US, and
even to the far shores of Osaka, Japan.
They have won numerous recognitions including the prestigious Supernova
Battle of the Bands 2004, which earned them an opening slot for
the band Lucid. They have also been invited by internationally
acclaimed Japanese punk group, 'Kamikaze Bombers' to
join them in Japan for some shows. Andy also sang the theme of the 2004
Energizer Battery commercial that aired all over Canada. On 2007, they
released their CD, “Biyahe sa Kabilang Mundo” (“Journey
to the Other World”, currently available through Minerva Records).

Two ambitious musicians founded Minerva Records on February
of 2005, Filbert Wong (Skyla) and Anjo Pallasigui
(Out Of Luck). Minerva Records was officially incorporated in
Ontario, Canada, on July of 2005. The two former band mates from the now
disbanded Minerva (the band whose name served as inspiration for the name
of the record label) have always had intentions of creating an independent
record label by musicians, and for musicians. Now, Minerva Records showcases
some of the hottest up and coming Asian-Canadian bands and solo artists
in the Toronto independent music industry.
**Minerva Records will be filming the Noizytoyz concert for their tv show
on Rogers Cable 606. They will also be filming an episode from their show
after the concert in Hall F. They're requesting audience members to stay
and participate after the concert to be part of the filming.
