Shadowrun Tournament

.::Toronto 2072 - Welcome chumer ::.

The times are hard, really hard but we have been running in that cycle for a while now, there is an other saying that comes to mind; "As things change - they stay the same," the classics, who would of thought those words would be as true then, as they are NOW. you know just thinking about it, one would think that we would have better sound bites to throw around, oh well, we move on to "X".

Then it all comes back to me,It's almost 6, i got to get my ass in gear to find some work, its' the end of the month, and i got bills to pay like rent, "food" and "women" and other things like that, the fun that we have in the name of consumerism. but after when the big 10 threw down their "new laws" , the work has been getting hard and harder to find. Only if our founding fathers could see us now, "for the people by the people" ha, I think that they blow there brains out with a box of blue light special bullets. You know something, that would be funny to see, and I would ALMOST pay to see that on the Vid, but that's just me. On a side note: Who Are Our founding Fathers anyways? Do we still have such a thing, did we ever really have anything like that in the first place? The way that things are now I think that history has been writin' by the corporations from the very beginning and edited by the AAA...Ah- SHIT, i am talking to myself, I hate when that happens, I need to call up my fixer and level that out. I can see that the Spiked hair punkers and well-dressed revellers are out in the night air. Nice to see the kids out an about. I am finding that the Electric lights of Yong Street threaten to overpower the flare compensation in my shades as I thread my way through the evening crowds, nice times I tell you .

The electric hum of the traffic is somewhat muted here as the crowds, as usual, interfere with the progress of anyone foolish enough to cruise the strip on a Friday night. Overhead i hear the faint whisper of rotor blades that signals the passage of the TRLD (the Toronto Royal LoneStar Department ), no doubt this is for the neon sheep to have there "peace of mind" and it also serves a deterrent for 'violence' that sometimes grips downtown. These days the street sounds comes from the variety of music seeping out of the clubs. Technobop, slash metal, tribal music, all vie for the attention of the beautiful, and not so beautiful people, ah the classics. AS i move on, I step over a beggar whose twisted leg protrudes across the pavement, i think about of stepping on IT's leg and just braking it in half, BUT we all have our hard times and i don't need the drama, I really need to get out of this hell hole, but were would i go? Crapers, i am doing it again and then i get the message that I was hoping for, and it reads: From Mr.Johnson@Johnson.com.

>I am in need of your services.
>Willing to pay handsomely.
>Minimum risk, no complications.
>Simple run on May 24 ,
>Meet up at the old Renaissance Hotel, bring friends
>
>Interested?

This has all of the inner workings that i am looking for, how could I turn that down, easy money, right ? Just thinking to myself here, I'll just bring my BfG with me, and that should level things out. Ya THAT should work, hard times i tell you...hard times.
