It's a pleasure for me to introduce you to the first annual ANGaming Gygax Gaming Awards. These are our top picks for gaming in each of the major genres; VIDEO GAMING, CARD GAMING, ROLE PLAYING GAMEs, and BOARD GAMING. From what we can see, overall gaming in 2007 was a lot less about innovation and more about perfecting what was already excellent. While console fanatics surrounded their television sets with PlayStation's, Xbox's, and Wii's controllers in hand this season, pen and paper RPGs and CCGs grew under the radar,and with that will gaming start to see the way it was back in the 1990's? Who really knows, only time will tell.

Join your colleagues in an evening of fun, fine food, drink and entertainment – So, what will the 2008 Gaming Awards probably look like? Well, that's up to you, Here are with the action, simulation, sports, and strategy games that defined 2008. Don't forget to look for your chance to vote and share your thoughts.

This year Gaming Awards will be hosted by myself RCEHoppe and some of the volunteers of the Anime North Gaming Staff.
